Solid state switching (key and stop)

The original organ was designed in 1927 by Dr. Harold Darke and built by Rushworth & Dreaper with electro-pneumatic stop and key action. It was converted to solid state action by Rushworth & Dreaper in 1972. In 1984 a Positive Division was added.
After closure of the Penrhos building the instrument was placed in storage.
It is considered to be a very fine Rushworth instrument and is offered as a gift to an appropriate home.
The organ occupied two chambers, each about 12 feet deep on either side of the hall, as shown. The visible display pipes are dummy .
